EARLY BIRD UNTIL MAY 15, 2023 | Prices go up $25–40 on May 16, 2023

Train with one of the most dynamic & accomplished Ki Aikido instructors in the world!

As time only moves forward, the first generations that directly trained under the founder of Aikido, O Sensei Morihei Ueshiba, have passed away. Teachers like Soshu Koichi Tohei Sensei, who served as Chief Instructor of the Aikikai in the decades before O Sensei’s death, have also departed this life.

This opportunity to train under one of the best examples of Koichi Tohei Sensei’s aikido movement and philosophy is absolutely precious.

Kashiwaya Sensei, uchideshi (live-in apprentice) and sotodeshi (in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s), and life-long student of Tohei Sensei, has dedicated more than 50 years of his life to teaching Ki-Aikido globally. He is one of the few active, full-time Aikido professionals in the United States and will be retiring from full time teaching in the next few years.

As Sohombu Shihan and Advisor for Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido Kai international in Japan, he has taught thousands of students and teachers since he began his career. In the last few years as Chief Instructor, a major emphasis of his teaching has been the development of the next generation of instructors and leaders for Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido Kai.
